Traditionally, fine rallis are made and given as wedding gifts to family members or friends. This large quilt is exceptional in every way.  It has 28 identical applique blocks with sashing incorporating a heart shaped design and ten intricate borders with silk tassels as the fringe.  The embellishment on this intricate design is over 1400 tiny mirrors sewed throughout the surface.
