Harriet Carpenter and her grandson Allen Burkholder Carpenter stand in front of her home on the family farm, Pine Hill, in Warwick Township, circa 1902. When Harriet and her husband Uriah grew older, they moved to this smaller home and let younger family members move into the main house.
