American Quilts in the Industrial Age, 1760-1870 is the publication that resulted from extensive physical examination of and research on the IQM's collection from the late 18th century to the mid-19th century. Styles of quilts featured in the book include whole cloth, red and green applique, and cut-out chintz applique.
