The Art Quilt, a groundbreaking 1986 exhibition curated by Michael Kile and Penny McMorris, featured most of the key players in the transformation of quilted bedcovers into gallery artwork. A quarter century later, the IQM brought together a dozen of those pieces in Revisiting the Art Quilt.
