The Needle and Thread Arts Society of California created this quilt during the Vietnam War. It features the signatures of famous Americans who objected to U.S. involvement in the conflict, including: lawyer and congresswoman Bella Abzug; congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein, comedian and activist Dick Gregory, Supreme Court Justice William O.
