In quiltmaking, a right triangle is often called a "half-square" triangle because two of them can easily be pieced together to make a square. In this interesting version of Birds in Air, each block is composed of an unpieced yellow half-square triangle and a half-square triangle composed of many half-square triangles. The result is both busy and orderly.
