Stitches for Crazy Quilting, Patchwork, Embroidery, Etc. offers page upon page of motifs to include in a Crazy quilt. Pamphlets like these, which proliferated in the 1880s, were one reason that American Crazy quilts began to have a somewhat homogeneous look, despite their generally haphazard appearance. Shown here are images regularly seen on Crazy quilts, including horseshoes and cattails, dragonfly, and spiderweb.
