This dressing gown was made for Guy Siek, a tall man of over 6 feet, 5 inches, by his mother. Composed of a range of woven silks, the seam edges of the patches are embroidered with a variety of stitches that incorporate a great number of French Knots. Some of the fabrics used, including two panels on the back, have Asian design references.
