This jacquard woven furnishing fabric in silk, wool, and cotton contains no pattern repeat and the shapes show typical Japanese infill patterns. Cotton fabrics with a similar patchwork pattern were produced by The Strines Printing Co. (Stockport, United Kingdom) for the Chinese market using Japanese patchwork designs.
