Attendees to the “Infinite Variety: Three Centuries of Red and White Quilts” exhibit at New York City’s Armory in 2011 visited in person and from a distance using an app to walk them through the 650 quilts. Application software designed for mobile devices has expanded the way that quilters can access the infinite variety of resources available to them.  From tours through exhibitions and access to museum’s collections to their favorite magazine or instructions on a method, quilters can carry it all on their mobile devices. iTunes
