In the spring of 2013, staff from the International Quilt Study Center & Museum and students from the Textiles, Merchandising, and Fashion Design graduate program at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln traveled to China to conduct research on Chinese patchwork. They kept a blog of their travels so that fans of the IQSCM could “travel” with them virtually. They shared cultural and food experiences, posted images of their activities, and discussed what they were learning about Chinese patchwork traditions through their research.
