In 1978, friends and family of Louis Ruff and Anna Koke presented them with this quilt on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The choice of the album quilt documented the relationships they had formed as well as their marriage. Marriage is historically so important in American life that we celebrate it every year with special celebrations and gifts to commemorate landmark years.
