Mountain Mist Blue Book of Quilts identified this Sunflowers quilt pattern as “P.” It was one of the first patterns artist Margaret Hays drew for Mountain Mist in 1930. Many quiltmakers may recognize Sunflowers as a classic Mountain Mist pattern.  According to Merikay Waldvogel’s research, this was one of a set of patterns that Mountain Mist may have adapted from Marie Webster designs.
