This Crazy quilt’s 48 blocks were made using a variety of “ready mades,” such as pre-embroidered appliqués and lithographed ribbons. Three of the printed ribbons bear a barely legible copyright from a Boston firm, Robertson Engraving Company, and one is dated 1883. With tassels on either end, the quilt may have been used as a decorative table cover.
